I still remember years ago when I first started to play golf, the tip you heard one of the most was 'keep your mind still.' My father used to say this if you ask me at the least 50 times a round. Why move your mind as you just take the team straight back? Because in-order to swing in a circular movement you require an axis to swing around you want to move your face. An axis has a bottom and a top. When you put up to the basketball, you've 1 top to an axis (your face) and 2 bottoms (your feet) and legs to an axis. This means that on the way back your head should be going 3 - 5 inches to the best in order to build your first axis to swing around. Then, following the ball is hit, your head will move ahead over the top of left knee to create a second axis. This second axis enables you to complete the circular turn in your golf swing enabling you to finish your swing. What exactly you've is really a floating top to an axis. Your face drifts forth and back to generate 2 axis once you swing. This enables one to swing in a circular motion. It's not just a perfect circle however. It is a small oval. You'll never hit the-ball a century ideal, because your move is really a small oval.

The only time you would keep your face is still if you had one leg. If you'd one leg, you would have 1 top and 1 bottom to an axis. This implies that if you moved your face you'd destroy this axis. Therefore perhaps we should all be playing looking at one leg and keeping our mind still? However, this will never work because you'll not produce enough power and you'll probably fall over. If your head is too still then constantly remind oneself to move it right back or have some body constantly remind one to 'move your head.'

Beware that it might cause you hitting behind the ball a bit, as you move your mind back. This can be a good sign at first. It's telling you that you're moving your head back but you have a lot of weight on your own right foot at impact. To remedy reaching behind the ball (fat pictures), all you need to complete is feel a bit more weight switch from your right foot through effect. If you do, you'll hit the ball perfectly and with a great deal more energy than you're used to.
